You may be asking yourself what the best platform for your business is...
And that's a great question. At The Digital Creative Agency we recognise that there isn't a “one platform fits all” but we have decided to focus on two amazing platforms.
We use Showit for our clients who's main focus isn't e-commerce.
Showit is a drag and drop builder with hosting built right into the service so it's easy for you as a business owner to make amendments and not have to worry about maintenance and security.

We use Shopify for for our clients who mainly sell products online and need an e-commerce platform.
Shopify is the number 1 e-commerce platform for all businesses. It's secure and reliable and really easy to use as a business owner.

The back end is really user friendly which means almost anyone can manage it.
It's secure and reliable - the platform includes hosting and securing the site, including all of the relevant compliance to deal with payment processing (of course).
They're really big on customer support. They're there for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They have an app for almost anything you can think of, so if Shopify or your theme doesn't already come with the functionality you need, you can probably find an app to do it.

Typically The Digital Creative Agency will do the initial setup of the website, followed by some joint sessions with the ShopaFree team to make more advanced changes live on video chat. Think of it as a pit crew working on your website to get everything sorted all at the same time.

We ask you questions about your business, your target audience and design preferences so we know what direction to go in for your website.

Shared Folders
We set up some shared folders for you to share copy, images and any other assets that you would like to include on your website.
Step 3: Website Strategy
We review your discovery questionnaire and produce a website strategy for your new site, including what pages and sections we plan to include.
We present this to you over a call and you provide feedback so we know if anything needs tweaking before starting any design work.
Step 4: Home Page
Home Page Design & Presentation
We mock up the home page for your website and present this to you for review.
Refining the home page
We then refine the home page based on the feedback you provide. Then it is presented to you again for you to sign off.
Step 5: Additional Pages
Additional Page Design & Presentation
Once the home page is signed off, we then start designing the remaining pages and present the complete site to you.

We then refine the additional pages (if required) based on your feedback. Then present them to you to sign off.
Step 6: Final Sign off & Launch
After everything has been signed off, we transfer the site to your Showit account and organise your website launch.

FAQs
Answers to the most common questions
Do you offer support with updating my website after delivery?
Absolutely, we include support following your launch date for a set period of time (depending on the service you opt for) and we also have some maintenance packages for existing clients.
I'd really love to get a new website but I just don't have the time to focus on it right now. Are there any options for me?
For sure! There are a few options we have. We could get you booked in to secure your spot and we start at a later date - that way you're committed to a new website and it won't keep getting put off. Or we could even manage the whole process for you with one of our partners. You would need to spend some time to provide some information, images and to be interviewed for a copywriter to gather enough information to be able to write effectively for you.
I'm not in the wedding industry but love your work. Can I still work with you?
Of course, we would love that Although our main focus is wedding businesses, we have and still do create websites for other types of businesses. We've created websites for Sound healers, nutrition programs, grocery stores and more.
I'm interested in a Wordpress website. Can you do this?
- It's not always easy for clients to update their own website.
- Plugins can often conflict with each other causing problems with your website.
- Because it's open source, no one is maintaining it for you.
- It will likely need updating on a regular basis and if an update of Wordpress or a plugin does conflict with something else, which could be difficult to fix or even worse, you don't realise and it has a negative impact on user experience.
Will my website be mobile friendly?
Yes for sure! In this day and age when there are more users viewing websites on a mobile compared to desktop it's more important than ever to have a responsive website. Both Showit and Shopify are great for this. With Showit, you have a side by side view of desktop and mobile. And Shopify don't have themes that aren't mobile friendly.
How long does it take to build my website?
This depends on which service you would like and which platform we're using, but scroll up to the website packages section where each service has an estimated timeline.
Will you set up my email account for me?
It isn't included in our website packages but if you do need assistance with this, just let us know and we can provide a quote to do this for you.
Who hosts the website?
Both Shopify and Showit provide hosting with thier subscriptions so you don't need to worry about hosting. You just need to get a domain name an email provider (We prefer Google for business emails).
Will you set up Google Analytics for me?
We would recomend that you create your own Google Analytics account (so you own the account) and provide us with the "Measurement ID" (The code that you're provided with to link up your site to Google Analytics), so we can add this to your website for you.
